29 August 2006

Came to know about coffee pods while searching for stuffs related to coffee. Hmm..pods, doesn’t this sound like those pods found in space ships or those with aliens incubating inside. Or how about the seed pods from plants. Nope, these are nothing close to coffee pods. So anyway I got interested and went to find out more. What I found I wrote it in coffeepod.html in my CoffeeSpectra site. Below is a snippet on coffee pods.

These are roasted and ground coffee encapsulated in paper. The tampering process applied just the correct pressure and to a standard size of 44mm with 6.8g - 7.0g of coffee per pod.
