Kape Alamid

21 September 2006

Kape Alamid. . .a suprise search term that bring visitors to my site at CoffeeSpectra.com. Well actually Kape Alamid and Kopi Luwak is the same thing. In both, the coffee beans passed through and processed by the digestive tracts of the commom Palm Civet..an animial which loves to eat the reddest and ripest coffee berries. In Indonesia it is known as Kopi Luwak and in Philippines it is known as Kape Alamid.

Anyway no matter how it is named, this coffee is the most expensive coffee in the world, easily costing a couple of hundreds per pound. I did a website discussing in details about Kopi Luwak at kopiluwak.html.

I visited a few website just to confirmed that Kopi Luwak and Kape Alamid is the same. This website www.ladylaila.net confirmed it’s the same. Also read what others are talking about Kopi Luwak in this blog www.vancouvercoffee.ca
