The Truth about Decaf Coffee
30 November 2006Decafe but not caffeine free? Well that’s what is reported below. Apparently there are still some traces of caffeine left after the decaf process. How much left? According to a study the results are:-
Here’s the breakdown of our findings per 8 ounce cup:
- Caribou: 3.3 milligrams
- Dunn Brothers: 4 milligrams
- SuperAmerica: 4.4 milligrams
- Holiday: 6.9 milligrams
- Starbucks: 175 milligrams, or essentially the equivalent of drinking a regular cup of coffee.
Why 8 ounce ? well, thta’s because of the standard set by the Food and Drug Administration. Read more from the news source below.
