Coffee in Other Languages

What is coffee called in other languages? Just curious about it so decided to find out. I used Babel Fish Translation service of Altavista to do so and here are the results.

• Dutch - koffie
• French, Portugese, Spanish - café
• German - Kaffee
• Italian - caffè
• Chinese - 咖啡 ( pronouce as Kafei )
• Japanese - コーヒー
• Russian - кофеий
• Greek - καφές
• Korean - 커피

Can’t pronouce the last four though but I guess should sound more or less like the others. Hmm…. coffee is indeed one universal drink .
